June 2, Fineko/abc.az. The costs of registering facilities producing biological products for animals have been canceled.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, President Ilham Aliyev approved amendments to a number of laws, including the Law on Licenses & Permits.

Thus, the production of veterinary drugs is included in the list of activities requiring licensing in accordance with the Law on Licenses & Permits, and prior licensing is required for registration of facilities for the production of biological drugs for animals. To issue a license, it is necessary to pay a state fee in the amount established by the Law on State Duty.

The registration of facilities for the production of biological preparations for animals will not be carried out by separate rules, but by the relevant supervisory authority (the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan) for the licensed type of activity based on information provided by the licensing authority (the Ministry of Economy) in accordance with the Law on Licenses & Permits, and the costs associated with registration will be canceled.

With the amendment to the Law on Phytosanitary Control, the state fee for the internal quarantine certificate will not be charged. An internal quarantine certificate is an official document issued to individuals and legal entities by an authority (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority, in accordance with the procedure established by the authority (institution) designated by the relevant executive authority, on the phytosanitary status of plants and crop products during transportation within the country.

The relevant decree will also develop a procedure for issuing an internal quarantine certificate for plants and crop production.
