June 10, Fineko/abc.az. Data has been published on investments in Azerbaijan over the past 3 years (2022-2024).

ABC.AZ informs that $3.5-4 bn were invested in 2022. These are mainly foreign investments in real estate, transport, including the oil and gas sector and other industries.

In 2023, finances were invested in Azerbaijan in the range of $3-3.5 bn, a level close to that of 2022, or with a slight decline.

Official final reports for 2024 have not yet been submitted. However, new projects were announced intermittently at the end of 2023 and in the first months of 2024.  For this reason, it is expected that the volume of investments will again remain in the range of several billion dollars.
