June 10, Fineko/abc.az. Turkic-speaking countries account for 1.8% of the world's GDP and 3.5% of world trade.
ABC.AZ informs that Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, made the relevant statement during his speech at the II Turkic Trade Exhibition.
He noted that in 2024, the investments in the Turkic-speaking countries totaled $440 billion.
"Today we see how important trade and investments are for the Turkic world. Expenditures of the total state budget of the Turkic world reached $440 billion in 2024. That's quite a lot of money. The industrial potential of the Turkic world is about $540 billion. Last year, the banking assets in the Turkic world approached $1.4 trillion," he said.
