June 11, Fineko/abc.az. Work is underway on the creation of the Sea Breeze Uzbekistan tourism complex on the shore of the Charvak reservoir in Uzbekistan within the framework of tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

ABC.AZ reports that Yusif Abdullayev, the executive director of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), made the relevant statement during the panel session Azerbaijan - Uzbekistan: Vector of Economic Partnership organized within the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum.

According to Abdullayev, approximately 600 hectares of land have already been allocated for the implementation of the project.

"In April of this year, the master plan of the project was presented to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev," the executive director noted.

In addition, he added that Agalarov Development company has started the construction of a premium segment residential complex in Tashkent.

"We believe these projects will make significant contribution to development of tourism and residential infrastructure in Uzbekistan. One of Azerbaijan's leading projects is the construction of the five-star Ritz-Carlton hotel in Tashkent. Construction work is currently actively continuing. The total investment value is approximately $200 million," Abdullayev emphasized.
