As part of the control measures, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, as a result of a study of the samples taken, found that the iodine content was lower than normal in 144 kg of iodized salt produced by Italkali, imported by Vertex Commerce LLC from Italy, as well as in 2,100 kg of iodized salt produced by Şifay Gıda Ithalat Ihracat Sanayi Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, imported from Turkey by individual Ibish Gasimov.
ABC.AZ informs that according to this fact, in accordance with the legislation, an appropriate decision was made, the batch of products was destroyed.
