Kazakhstan intends to increase grain exports to Iran 17-fold - almost 1 million tons.

June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan intends to significantly increase grain supplies to Iran, thereby strengthening its strategic agricultural partnership with one of the key trading partners in Western Asia.

ABC.AZ informs that according to official data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, the country plans to increase exports of wheat up to 2 million tons per year, and barley up to 1 million tons.

These ambitious goals are supported by the results already achieved: since September 2024, 960,000 tons of Kazakhstani grain have been delivered to Iran, which is 17-fold higher than the same indicator of the previous agricultural season.
