June 13, Fineko/abc.az. Industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs working in the non-oil sector produced industrial output for 26 billion manats for Jan-May 2025 (1.6% less against Jan-May 2024). Production in the oil and gas sector decreased by 2.8%, and in the non-oil and gas sector - by 6.4%.
ABC.AZ reports that 62.2% of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 31.0% in the processing sector, 5.8% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 1.0% in the water supply, waste treatment and recycling sector.
In the mining sector, commercial oil production declined by 4.9%, while commercial gas extraction increased by 1.7%.
