June 17, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of goods sold and services rendered to meet the needs of consumers for Jan-May of this year amounted to 30 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that the indicator is 5.2% more against Jan-May 2024.

Of the total cost for Jan-May 2025, 77.8% was retail trade turnover, 18.9% was the cost of paid services provided to the public, and 3.3% was catering turnover.

The cost of goods and services sold by business entities operating in the non-governmental sector increased by 5% compared with Jan-May 2024 to 28.7 billion manats, 42.4% of which were generated through the activities of individual entrepreneurs.

In 5 months, the consumer spent an average of 586.5 manats per month, or 55 manats more in nominal terms versus Jan-May 2024.
