June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Microsoft Corporation, which already laid off 6,000 people in May 2025, intends to reduce several thousand more people in July.

ABC.AZ reports, with reference to Bloomberg, that if software developers and engineers were fired in May, then this time the main cuts will affect sales and marketing departments, but cuts in other departments are not excluded.

As of the summer of 2024, Microsoft employed 228,000 people worldwide, of whom about 45,000 worked in sales and marketing departments.
