June 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and South Korea discussed development of cooperation in the tax sphere.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Tax Service that the meeting took place within the 29th General Assembly of the Intra-European Organization of Tax Administrations (IOTA) in Baku.

STS head Orkhan Nazarli held talks with the head of the National Revenue Service of the Republic of Korea, Kang Min-woo. The parties stressed the importance of sharing experiences in the application of digital technologies, improving the quality of tax services and improving interaction with taxpayers.

"Azerbaijan is actively implementing digital solutions in the tax system and promoting voluntary compliance with tax obligations," Nazarli said.

The parties expressed interest in further development of bilateral cooperation.
