Azerbaijan-Georgia trade turnover reaches $523 million this year

June 20, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan for the past 5 months of 2025 amounted to $523 million, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the National Statistical Service of Georgia.

Over Jan-May 2025, Azerbaijan had a 5.3% share in Georgia's total trade turnover. Thus, our country became Georgia's 6th trading partner after Turkey, the USA, Russia, China and Kyrgyzstan.

Products for $282.3 million were exported from Georgia to Azerbaijan (12.4% more versus Jan-May 2024).

Azerbaijan, with a 10.9% share in Georgia's exports, ranked 3rd among the neighboring country's main export partners after Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

The total cost of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan decreased by 2.7% to $240.6 million. Azerbaijan had a 3.3 share in the neighboring country's imports and ranked 6th in this indicator after the U.S., Turkey, Russia, China, Great Britain and Germany.

The total value of Georgia's foreign trade turnover for Jan-May reached $9.79 billion (13.3% more against Jan-May 2024).
