June 20, Fineko/abc.az. The heads of local executive authorities in Nakhchivan will be appointed by the President of Azerbaijan on the basis of a recommendation from the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Draft Constitutional Law "On approval of amendments to the Constitution of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic" to be submitted for discussion at tomorrow's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

The draft envisages appointment of the heads of local executive authorities in the NAR by the president on the basis of a recommendation by the NAR Supreme Majlis Chairman.
