June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan plans to increase oil exports to Germany up to 2 million tons by the end of this year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Aset Magauov, deputy chairman of board at KazMunayGas.
He added that in 2024, shipments on the Atyrau - Samara route increased by 50%. Further growth in export volumes is expected in 2025.
In May, the company shipped 230,000 tons of oil to Germany through the Transneft system, which is more than in April (160,000 tons). The transportation plan for 2025 is 1.2 million tons, and in 2024 shipments through the Druzhba oil pipeline reached 1.5 million tons.
