June 21, Fineko/abc.az. Butter imported in Azerbaijan from abroad has sharply increased in price this year.

ABC.AZ informs that for Jan-May 2025, prices for imported butter grew. As a result, in the first time in 5 months, butter imports exceeded $100 million up to $110 million.

According to the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan imported 11,458 tons of butter for $80.5 million for Jan-May 2025. Import customs value of 1 kg of butter was 11.94 manats (35% more versus 2024).

Thus, for Jan-May 2024, our country imported 10,394 tons of butter for $51,200, and the import price of butter was 8.86 manats.
