June 24, Fineko/abc.az. A new draft law "On heat supply" has been submitted for discussion at today's Milli Majlis meeting.

ABC.AZ informs that the bill consists of 7 chapters and 26 articles.

After discussions, the bill was adopted in the third reading.

The new draft law has been prepared pursuant to Paragraph 2.3 of the Presidential Decree No. 3233 from April 29, 2022 «On accelerating reforms in the field of heat supply and measures to improve efficiency".

The purpose of the draft is to establish the legal foundations of economic relations arising from the production, distribution (transmission), sale and consumption of thermal energy, the powers of state bodies in regulating the sphere of heat supply, the rights and obligations of heat supply entities, and improving the quality of heat supply to consumers.
