June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Financial platforms should converge and integrate with other sectors of the economy, from taxi services to various types of payments.
ABC.AZ reports, quoting Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, as saying this in his speech at FINTEX SUMMIT 2025– an exhibition of finance & technology in Baku.
According to Gasimli, another issue is the importance of regulation in this area.
"For example, starting from the fight against dirty money laundering and ending with regulation in various areas of payment systems, regulation is required," Gasimli said.
He stressed that there is also an urgent need for a personalized approach based on artificial intelligence: "Let's face it, today there is an individualized approach to all issues, from education to healthcare. Artificial intelligence technologies should also be applied in the banking sector, from credit history to other issues. Another factor is related to "green technologies". As you know, the banking sector has committed to raise 2 billion manats in this area. We must bring all these trends that I have listed to the business platform, to the bank."
