June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is strategic digital payments market for us, and cooperation with Azerbaijan is of particular importance to us. Here we are witnessing an intensive growth of digital payments and non-cash transactions.

ABC.AZ reports that Kristina Doros, Visa’s Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for the region, said about this during her speech at financial technology exhibition Fintex Summit 2025, organized by the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

She noted that Visa has been present on the market for 68 years and relies on technologies and innovations as a system that unites more than 4 billion cardholders and 14,000 banking organizations worldwide.
