September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) explored avenues of cooperation in key sectors, including water infrastructure, solid waste management, and other promising areas with strong potential for future collaboration.

ABC.AZ reports that Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said about this on X following a meeting with Alkis Drakinos, the EBRD's Regional Head for the Caucasus.

The meeting took place within the framework of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025).

"We underlined the pivotal role that effective partnerships with international financial institutions play in promoting Azerbaijan's sustainable development and enhancing its investment climate," Jabbarov wrote on X.
