October 3, Fineko/abc.az. A comparatively new spacecraft manufacturing company, Inversion, has presented its new "on-demand" delivery vehicle during the relevant ceremony at its Los Angeles factory.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the company, it is fabricating the Arc spacecraft to provide the U.S. military with the ability to deliver up to 500 pounds (225 kg) of cargo to virtually anywhere in the world almost instantly.
"Our nominal mission is to pre-place Arcs vehicles in orbit and ensure that they stay there for up to five years, with the ability to launch and then land autonomously anywhere and anytime as needed, as well as with the ability to deliver cargo or property to the right location in less than an hour," said Justin Fiascetti, co-founder and the CEO at Inversion, in an interview with Ars before the event.
