October 7, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st half of 2025, the number of unique depositors of term deposits in Azerbaijani banks increased by 11.7%, exceeding 168,000 people.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Atakhan Hasanov, the director of the Financial Stability Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), that this indicator has shown significant growth since last year, as a result of which it exceeded the financial and prudential requirements of the sector.

In 2024, the number of unique depositors of term deposits in the banking sector of Azerbaijan grew by 41% and reached 150,500 people.
