October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 6 months, the financial sector has seen growth on all segments.

ABC.AZ reports that Atakhan Hasanov, the director of the Financial Stability Department of the regulator, made this statement at a press conference on financial stability reporting at the Central Bank.

He added that it is encouraging that the capital position of the banking sector supports expansion of the market.

"Credit risks in this sector are low during this period. Growth was observed in a number of economic portfolios. The focus remains on the risks associated with the debt burden of the population. The sector's liquidity position continues to strengthen and remains in its comfort zone. The mismatch in terms of assets and liabilities of banks does not threaten their stability. Long-term trends towards de-dollarization persist," Hasanov said.
