October 7, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey is considering a deal with the U.S. on rare earths.

ABC.AZ informs that the U.S. has previously discussed such deals with China and Russia, but these countries are not in a hurry to negotiate on this issue.

The Beilikov deposit (Eskisehir, Central Anatolia) contains cerium, praseodymium and neodymium, but the quality of the resources is still unknown. In the case of an agreement with the U.S., Turkey may abandon the preliminary deal with China; negotiations with Russia have not previously yielded results.
