EU to cancel customs duties on some Ukrainian agri-food products

October 14, Fineko/abc.az. The EU Council has announced its decision on EU’s position in the EU-Ukraine Association Committee to reduce or cancel customs duties on some Ukrainian agricultural products.

ABC.AZ informs that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, which holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union, Lars Loekke Rasmussen, said that the abolition of customs duties is beneficial for both the EU and Ukraine.

"This will ensure sustainable economic stability, strong trade relations and further integration of Ukraine with the Union," he said.

The decision concerns such products as dairy products, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and meat semi-finished products.
