October 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, the cost of goods sold and services rendered to meet the needs of consumers in Azerbaijan amounted to 59 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, the figure is 4.9% more against the 2024 same term.

Retail trade turnover made up 78.7% of the total cost, 17.9% - the cost of paid services provided to the public, 3.4% - catering turnover.

The cost of goods and services sold by business entities operating in the non-governmental sector increased by 4.8% compared to the first 9 months of last year and amounted to 56.6 billion manats, 44.2% of which were generated through the activities of individual entrepreneurs.

In 9 months, the consumer spent an average of 640 manats per month, or 57.7 manats more in nominal terms compared to the previous year.
