October 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to customs declarations for Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 18.527 bcm of natural gas.

ABC.AZ reports, citing statistics from the State Customs Committee, that the cost of natural gas exported from Azerbaijan reached $6.698 bn.

The volume of exported natural gas is 1.1% less than in the first 9 months of 2024, and its cost is 10.2% more.

The share of natural gas in Azerbaijan's overall exports for the reported month was 36%.

Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for totally $35.376 bn. Of the foreign trade turnover, $18.606 bn accounted for exports and $16.769 bn for imports. Over Jan-Sept 2025, exports declined by 6.3%, while imports increased by 14.5%.
