October 16, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 9.589 million tons of crude oil to Italy.

The cost of this quantity of products reached $4.99 bn, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

The volume of products exported from Azerbaijan to Italy increased by 45.8% and the cost by 19.9% against the 2024 same term.

The share of crude oil exported to Italy in Azerbaijan's total oil exports was 56.42%.

According to customs declarations for Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 16.996 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products from bituminous rocks for $8.938 bn.

Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries in the amount of $35.376 bn. Of the foreign trade turnover, $18.606 bn accounted for exports and $16.769 bn for imports.
