In the future, appropriate tourism infrastructure will be created in the villages of Kyukyu in Shakhbuz district and Pazmeri of Ordubad district, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Elgun Javadov, the head of the Department of Cultural Heritage & Regional Tourism of the State Tourism Agency.

He noted that Nakhchivan has wide opportunities for development of all types of tourism: "Within the state program, work has been carried out in Nakhchivan to select two tourism villages. After exploring various localities, the villages of Kyukyu in Shahbuz district and Pazmeri in Ordubad district were initially identified as tourist villages. It is planned to create appropriate tourist infrastructure in these villages in the future."
