ABC.AZ informs that Chinese President Xi Jinping made this statement at talks in Busan, South Korea, with U.S. President Donald Trump.

"Trade and economic cooperation should continue to be a stabilizing factor and a driving force in relations between China and the U.S., rather than a stumbling block and a source of conflict. Both sides should take into account common interests, look more at the long-term benefits of cooperation, and not fall into a vicious circle of mutual retaliation. The teams of the two sides can continue negotiations based on the principles of equality, respect and mutual benefit, constantly reducing the list of problems and expanding the list of issues for cooperation," Xinhua news agency quoted him as saying.
