November 6, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 3 quarters of this year, an average of around 74.5 million standard cubic meters (nearly 2.63 billion standard cubic feet) of gas extracted at Shah Deniz field was exported from the Sangachal Terminal, ABC.AZ informs with reference to BP’s report on the results of Q3 of 2025.
Over the same term of 2024, this figure was close to 74 million cubic meters (a rise of 0.7% year-on-year).
Gas is exported through the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP), including through its expanded system, as well as through Azerbaijani pipelines connecting Terminal's gas processing plants with the national network of Azerigaz.
In the 3rd quarter of 2025, oil and gas produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields continued to be transported via underwater pipelines to the Sangachal Terminal.
The daily capacity of Terminal's technical processing systems currently stands at 1.2 million barrels of oil and condensate, and nearly 81 million standard cubic meters of Shah Deniz gas. The total gas processing and export capacity (including associated gas from ACG) is approx. 100 million standard cubic meters per day.
