Uzbekistan invests over $100 bn in U.S.

November 7, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. and Uzbekistan have concluded a trade deal.

ABC.AZ informs that more than $100 bn will be invested in the U.S. under the agreement.

"I am pleased to announce an incredible trade and economic agreement between the U.S. and Uzbekistan. Over the next 3 years, Uzbekistan will acquire and invest almost $35 bn, and over the next 10 years - more than $100 bn in key American sectors, including extraction of critical minerals, aviation, auto parts manufacturing, infrastructure, agriculture, energy and chemical industries, information technologies and others. I would like to express my gratitude to the distinguished President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship between our countries!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Following a round table with the participation of President Mirziyoyev and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Latnick on November 6, Uzbek companies and government agencies concluded a number of agreements with U.S. companies.
