Warner Bros. Discovery reduced revenue and recorded loss in 3rd quarter of 2025

November 7, Fineko/abc.az. Media holding company Warner Bros Discovery Inc. (WBD) reported a 6% year-on-year decrease in revenue in the 3rd quarter of 2025 up to $9 billion.

ABC.AZ informs that the company recorded net loss of $143 million, while a year earlier it made profit of $141 million.

The loss per share was $0.06, compared to profit of $0.05 in the same period of last year.

The main growth came from the studio segment, where revenue increased by 23% up to $3.3 billion thanks to the success of new releases.

Revenue from streaming services remained virtually unchanged at $2.6 billion. The number of subscribers increased by 2.3 million up to 128 million.

At the same time, this indicator was lower than analysts' expectations. The television business showed weak results, where revenues decreased by 23% to $3.9 billion.

These figures show the continued migration of the audience to digital channels.
