November 13, Fineko/abc.az. Social insurance funds in the amount of 305,820 manats were subsidized to 933 insured persons in 2024 by 20 insurance companies operating in the occupation-liberated territories.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on the draft budget of the State Social Protection Fund for 2026.

The conclusion says that in 2024, compared with 2023, the number of policyholders in the relevant area increased 5-fold, the number of insured persons grew 3.66-fold, and subsidization of accrued mandatory state social insurance contributions 3.57-fold.

According to the performance indicators for the 1st half of this year, 87,440 manats were subsidized for 23 policyholders and 327 insured persons operating in the occupation-liberated territories in accordance with both paragraphs of the relevant article of the Law on Social Insurance (28.6% of the relevant indicator of the previous year).
