November 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prospects for expanding economic ties and new cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hong Kong have been discussed.

These discussions were held at a meeting with Tural Hajili, Deputy Executive Director at Export & Investment Promotion Agency of Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), and Chris Lo, Regional Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for Europe, Central Asia and Israel, ABC.AZ reports with a link to AZPROMO.

During the meeting, Hajili informed about Agency's activities, export and investment promotion mechanisms, as well as export promotion measures aimed at promoting brand "Made in Azerbaijan".

In turn, Chris Lo spoke about the activities of the Hong Kong Council, its role as a mutual trade and investment platform, and its strategic position in establishing international business ties. He invited Azerbaijan to participate in international exhibitions in Hong Kong to strengthen partnership in the field of trade, suggested organizing mutual investment missions and holding joint events.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation in such fields as metallurgy, data research, winemaking, food industry, technology, logistics and manufacturing.
