November 24, Fineko/abc.az. India and Georgia have agreed to significantly strengthen working ties in different sectors and activities in the textile industry, ABC.AZ reports, referring to The Economic Times.
The paper says that the Indian delegation of the Ministry of Textile Industry, headed by P. Sivakumar, Member-Secretary of the Central Silk Council and Secretary General of the International Sericulture Commission, was in Georgia on a visit from November 17 to 21.
"Following the visit, Indian-Georgian cooperation in textile research and trade was resumed, new opportunities for the creation of joint ventures for the production of clothing and carpets were identified, and the establishment of departmental and technical partnerships began," the statement said.
