December 9th, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan imported 29,443 tons of barley (including seed barley) for $6.2 million (76% more in value terms and 46% more in quantity versus Jan-Sept 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 17,601 tons (+49%) of products from Kazakhstan for $3.7 million (26-fold more than a year earlier) and 11,842 tons (-40%) of products from Russia for $2.5 million (-25%).

For the first 9 months, Azerbaijan exported 7,516 tons (+75-fold) of barley to Iraq for $1.7 million (+76-fold).
