December 9th, Fineko/abc.az. Artificial intelligence is the driving force of economic growth.

ABC.AZ reports that Kamran Imanov, the chairman of board of the Intellectual Property Agency, made this statement at an international conference on the theme «Intellectual Property & Artificial Intelligence».

He pointed out that the history of artificial intelligence has evolved from mythological representations to transformers and generative models. It has history of becoming one of the pillars of the global economy and the leading factors of socio-cultural transformation: «The Strategy of Artificial Intelligence of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2028, approved by the presidential order, covers such spheres as economy, public administration, education, infrastructure, etc. The Strategy also includes improving the regulatory framework. There are tasks related to the adoption of the law on artificial intelligence, which includes issues of data ethics, responsibility, the creation of the Academy of Artificial Intelligence, and this, of course, also causes changes in legislation in the field of intellectual property."
