December 9, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 10,721 tons of cotton yarn for $24.6 million (12.5% less in value terms and 21% less in quantity versus 2024), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 5,455 tons (-7%) for $13.5 million to Turkey (12% less than a year earlier), 5,183 tons (+74%) for $10.9 million (+67%) to Russia, and 60 tons for $122,800, 20 tons to Ukraine (no supplies a year ago) for $42,000, 2 tons to Georgia (no supplies a year ago) for $5,000.

Azerbaijan resumed supplies to Belarus after a 5-year and 10-month break.

Out of 11,548 tons of cotton yarn exported from Azerbaijan in 2024, 64.4% went to Turkey.
