December 9, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan imported 7.693 million trees, shrubs and bushes (fruit-bearing), with total value of $18.3 million (28% more in value terms and 39% more in quantity versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan purchased 5,400,000 trees and bushes (+42%) from Turkey for $11 million (31% more than a year earlier); 336,500 ones (-33%) from Italy for $2.2 million (-25%), 281,000 ones from Spain (+55%) for $1.5 million (+73%), 470,000 ones(13-fold more) from France for $1.5 million (5-fold more), 106,000 ones (10-fold more) from Belgium for $692,000 (+29%).

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years, shipments from Tunisia were carried out (84,000 for $10,000).
