December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Cargo transportation by rail in Azerbaijan for Jan-Nov  2025 amounted to 16.927 million tons (1.57 million tons, or 9.3% less against Jan-Nov 2024), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

In 2025, the volume of goods transported by economic entities operating in the transport sector totaled 217.9 million tons.

7% of the cargo was transported by rail.
