December 16, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, individials’ money transfers from Central Asian countries to Azerbaijan totaled $33 million (Jan-Nov 2024 - $28.36 million), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Thus, revenues in the region increased by $4.64 million, or by 16.4%.

Kazakhstan is the undisputed leader of the region in terms of cash receipts. If for Jan-Sept 2024 transfers from this country amounted to $17.79 million, then for Jan-Sept 2025 they increased up to $18.47 million. The annual growth was $680,000, which corresponds to 3.8%.

The money transfers from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan grew from $8.23 million up to $11.03 million (a rise of $2.8 million, or 34%). The highest growth among the Central Asian countries was recorded in Uzbekistan.

The money transfers from Kyrgyzstan for Jan-Sept 2024 totaled $2.34 million and for Jan-Sept 2025 - $3.5 million. As a result, the annual increase reached $1.16 million (by 49.6%).
