ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendments to the Law oOn Tobacco & Tobacco Products, submitted for discussion at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Agrarian Policy, Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, as well as on Labor & Social Oolicy.

According to the draft, electronic cigarettes containing nicotine are included in the concept of tobacco products. An electronic cigarette is a product, with the exception of food products, tobacco products, medicines, and medical devices, intended to enter the human body by inhaling vapor containing or not containing nicotine, and used using a device with a mouthpiece or other components, including with or without a cartridge and bottle. A bottle of electronic cigarettes can be used once or several times, or electronic cigarettes can be refilled using disposable cartridges.

A product made from heated tobacco will not be considered an electronic cigarette. Electronic cigarettes containing nicotine are classified as tobacco products with a ban on their turnover.
