December 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 1.81 million smartphones for $344.206 million for Jan-Oct 2025.

ABC.AZ reports that for the first 10 months imports from the main suppliers amounted to approx. 1.17 million phones, but in value terms it was significantly lower.

In 2025, China still accounts for the bulk of smartphone imports. 863,700 smartphones for $262.5 million were imported from this country. In the same period of 2024, Azerbaijan imported 918,000 smartphones for $243.3 million from China.

The number of smartphones imported from Vietnam grew by 205,000 phones, and the cost by $74.8 million. In 2024, imports from Vietnam reached 179,000 phones ($62.3 million).

Imports from India declined sharply in 2025. Thus, the number of imported smartphones dropped to 11,000 phones, and the cost - to $6.6 million. And in 10 months of 2024, 65,000 smartphones for $15.98 million were imported from India.
