December 19, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a decree on the global leadership of the United States in space exploration.
ABC.AZ reports that as part of the NASA Artemis program document, flights to the Moon will be resumed, and NASA will continue to develop nuclear energy for space by placing reactors on the Moon and its orbit by 2030.
The decree abolishes the National Space Council, transferring its functions to the Office of Scientific & Technical Policy.
By 2028, it is also planned to develop new missile defense technologies in the Golden Dome project.
The U.S. expects to attract at least $50 billion in investments in the space industry by 2028.
