January 9, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades have kept on rising in Friday’s trading after surging more than by 3% the day before.

The price of Brent crude futures for March at the ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.44 (0.71%) up to $62.43 per barrel by 09:10. Following the trading on January 8, March’s Brent crude futures grew by $2.03 (3.39%) up to $61.99 per barrel.

The price of February’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange rose by $0.42 (0.73%) up to $58.18 per barrel by 09:10. Following the trading on January 8, WTI crude futures for February jumped in price by $1.77 (3.16%) up to $57.76 per barrel.
