Gasoline in Armenia to fall in price after Azerbaijan’s exports

January 9 , Fineko/abc.az. Gasoline prices are expected to decrease in Armenia due to the arrival of new oil products from Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

"As I have already noted, compared to the prices of the previous month, gasoline and diesel fuel prices are expected to decrease to AMD 80 per liter. I am pleased to announce that in connection with this development, other companies engaged in the sale of petroleum products are also working to cut prices," Papoyan wrote.

The minister noted that in 2025, 6,580 tons of grain were imported from Azerbaijan in Armenia by rail. He added that 1,000 tons of imported grain belongs to Kazakhstan, and 5,580 tons to Russia. At the same time, 1,210 tons of Azerbaijani gasoline were imported.

"As of January 8, 2026, 8,485 tons of Russian grain were imported from the territory of Azerbaijan by rail in Armenia, and 4,103 tons are on the way. At the same time, 7,600 tons of Azerbaijani petroleum products were transported, including 6,100 tons of gasoline and 1,500 tons of diesel fuel," he said.
