January 9, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, turnover on the primary stock market at the Baku Stock Exchange dropped sharply.

ABC.AZ informs that the volume of share transactions in the primary market reached only 7.68 million manats, which is about 62.99 million manats or 89.10% less than the 70.68 million manats registered in 2024.

The 2025 figure exceeds 4.09 million manats in 2023, but is twice as low as 14.56 million manats in 2022.

Last year, the majority of transactions took place due to the mass issue of ABB shares (56.53 million manats). However, there is moderate growth in the secondary stock market.

In 2025, the turnover of shares in the secondary market grew up to 15.77 million manats, and in 2024 this figure reached 12.47 million manats.

Thus, the annual growth amounted to 3.30 million manats, or close to 26.50%. As before, ABB accounts for the majority of operations here. ABB is also currently organizing the remote purchase and sale of shares.
