January 13, Fineko/abc.az. Mark Zuckerberg has announced the launch of Meta Compute, a project to create his own powerful infrastructure for artificial intelligence.

ABC.AZ reports that it is planned to build dozens of gigawatts of capacity this decade and hundreds of gigawatts over time.

Three key managers have been appointed to implement the project: Santosh Janardhan for technical architecture and operation of data centers, Daniel Gross for capacity strategy and business modeling, and Dina Powell McCormick for government engagement.

Meta Compute initiative reflects industry's race of IT giants for AI infrastructure, where access to energy is becoming a critical resource along with talented developers.
