January 15, Fineko/abc.az. New Strategic Plan for 2026-2030 will serve as a basic roadmap for the activities of the Accounts Chamber.

ABC.AZ informs that ACA chair Vugar Gulmamedov said this, when commenting on the strategic plan.

According to Gulmamedov, the document was prepared based on an analysis of the actual activities carried out in 2021-2025, the results of the SAI PMF (structure for measuring the activities of supreme audit institutions) and peer review, as well as the current situation.

Gulmamedov noted that the analysis of the activities and evaluation results for the previous period made it possible to formulate a strategy for professional and organizational development for the next five years.

"Our goal is to solve existing problems, maintain the achievements made and achieve more ambitious goals," he said.

According to the chair, the new strategic plan will become the main guiding document in building Accounts Chamber's activities in accordance with modern challenges.

He also stressed that, in addition to the Strategic Plan, effective business relationships were built by the main stakeholders during the preparation, and their expectations of the analysis were taken into account in the document. As part of the new plan, the performance approach was expanded and, for the first time, the forecast dynamics of a number of key performance indicators for a five-year period was included in the document.

Gulmamedov added that in the next five years, the main priorities will be the complete construction of the state audit information system, integration with the information systems of other government agencies, introduction of artificial intelligence and data analysis tools, expansion of international auditing standards and strengthening public finance management.
