January 16, Fineko/abc.az. In December 2025, Kazakhstan redirected about 300,000 tons of oil to alternative export routes in connection with supply restrictions through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system, ABC.AZ informs with reference to Kazakhstan’s national company KazMunayGas (KMG).

"The redirected volume of oil was shipped via routes to Germany, China, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC), as well as through the ports of Novorossiysk and Ust-Luga," KMG statement says.

In January 2026, taking into account the continuing restrictions on oil intake from the CPC, measures to redirect supplies will be continued.
