Georgia received money transfers for $40.2 million from Azerbaijan last year

January 16, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, $40.2 million worth of money transfers were made from Azerbaijan to Georgia, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the National Bank of Georgia.

The volume of transfers declined by $3.53 million or by 8.07% year-on-year.

Last year, Azerbaijan received $65.92 million from Georgia (36.4% more versus 2024).

The largest number of money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia was carried out in April ($3.98 million). The largest number of money transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan ($6.95 million) was recorded in October.
